Sarah is a New York based Director of Photography, Director and Producer.
She characterizes her cinematography as a fusion of “heavy style with a feminine softness,” a unique approach that intertwines bold, intense visuals with delicate, subtle undertones. This juxtaposition allows her to create a powerful narrative that resonates on both a visceral and emotional level, reflecting the complexity of the stories she tells. Her work often challenges traditional visual norms, making room for a softer, more intimate portrayal of strength and vulnerability.
Primarily, she has been the director of photography for narrative shorts, but is no stranger to corporate and documentary work. She received her MFA in Cinematography from Brooklyn College.

From a young age, she has garnered awards for her filmmaking and photography.
She is deeply committed to using her filmmaking as a platform to uplift women and the queer community, creating stories that resonate with authenticity and emotional depth. Her work is distinguished by her ability to weave together humanistic softness—a gentle, empathetic portrayal of her subjects—with vibrant vintage visuals that evoke a sense of nostalgia and timelessness.
Experienced in narrative and corporate filmmaking. She received her BFA with honors in Film Production from Hunter College.
